This is a single port charger, which is actually nice. Because you won’t need to worry about which port you need to use to get the fastest charge, or how many you can plug in without slowing down the charging too much. Just one USB-C port here, that can charge up to 65W. Now, if you’re worried about a phone like the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which does not charge at 65W, instead only 25W. Don’t. Like most chargers, this charger will only charge that phone at its maximum speed. So that’s 25W. Like with any device, it will only deliver as much power as the device can handle. On a device like the OnePlus 10T which can do 125W, however, you’re only getting about half of that speed. But that’s okay, because it’ll be better for the battery, versus charging at 125W all the time. Why is this charger called “nano”? Well, because it is pretty tiny. Anker, and a few other charger makers, are using Gallium Nitride over Silicon in their chargers to keep them cool. A big advantage to using Gallium Nitride is the fact that it needs less material and less space to keep the components cool. That’s why this 65W charger is about the size of the 5W charger that Apple was including in its iPhone boxes until the iPhone 12. And that makes it really useful for traveling, as it’ll use up less space in your backpack. And who doesn’t love that?
