It’s rare because Bose products rarely ever go on sale. Typically only around shopping holidays like Black Friday and Prime Day. And this is lower than the price we saw on Prime Day in July. Bose QuietComfort 45 noise canceling headphones were announced back in August, so these are fairly new. And surprising to see them discounted already. Additionally Bose products rarely ever get a discount, so this is a deal you will want to jump on. These new headphones in the QuietComfort lineup bring back a lot of the features you know and love from the Bose QuietComfort 35 series. But they also bring in high-fidelity mode. So those that are audiophiles, will likely love these headphones. There is also a volume-optimized active EQ built-in with these headphones. As far as the sound quality goes, it’s about what you would expect from a pair of Bose headphones. The same Bose sound signature is here, and that means plenty of bass with some really good sounding mids and highs. There’s also a new Aware Mode this year, where you can let in more outside noise. This is useful if you’re walking down the street or using them on a plane. So you can hear people talking to you. This has been available in Sony’s headphones for years already. Battery life isn’t too shabby here either. With around 24 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. Bose does have a form of quick charging here. Allowing you to charge for about 15 minutes and get around 3 hours of playback. That’s great if you have a quick flight and forgot to charge before heading to the airport. Of course, we can’t forget, it uses USB-C for charging!
