Galaxy S22 series protective cases appear in real-life photos
Starting with the Smart Clear View Cover for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, there’s something new here. The case itself is not new as Samsung offered such cased for its flagship models in the past as well. However, the company is making some design changes this time around. As you can see in the photos below (and above), the latest offering features a tiny rectangular window in the top-right corner. Prior iterations featured a narrow transparent strip that ran across the length of the top leaf. But either way, it lets you see the Always-On Display without lifting the top leaf of the cover. Perhaps Samsung decided to tweak the Clear View Cover’s design this year to go with the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s design change. The new top-of-the-line Galaxy S flagship looks more like a Galaxy Note device. Squarer corners, built-in S Pen holster, and a new camera design, everything screams a Note phone. There were even reports of the phone debuting as the Galaxy S22 Note or something of that sort. But Samsung seemingly chose to keep this consistent and call it Galaxy S22 Ultra. The vanilla Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ models, meanwhile, sport an identical design that isn’t too different from the Galaxy S21 series last year. There’s not much to talk about their Leather Cover either. It simply protects the back of the phone without offering any extra bits like the Clear View Cover.
