But what’s even more impressive is the fact that Dell says that you’ll get 41% deeper blacks and up to 1.2x better color accuracy than regular IPS panels. So could it rival OLED? Possibly. It’s using IPS Black tech that can support a 2000:1 contrast ratio along with about 99% of the DCI-P3 and 99% of the Display P3 color coverage. As well as VESA DisplayHDR 600. It also has dual 14W speakers and an echo cancellation mic inside. This monitor is pretty cool, since it does have two video sources available, and allows you to use them simultaneously. So you could plug in your laptop and a PS5 and use them at the same time. Which is pretty neat. It uses picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture functions here to make that happen. Dell has included DisplayPort 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity here. Now, that’s not all that Dell has up its sleeve this year. It is also announcing an UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor, which also has PBP and PIP included, along with 5W speakers. There’s also the UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub. With this one, you can connect up to four PCs, and switch between them. You can also use them all at the same time. Which is pretty neat.
Pricing & Availability
According to Dell, the UltraSharp 32 6K monitor will be available in the second quarter of this year (that’s April to June). Pricing has not yet been revealed. Now, the Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor will be on sale starting January 31, and will cost $1,260. Meanwhile the Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub will also go on sale on January 31, with a price of $1,330.
