Flex is a new, highly-customizable Reddit app… though it’s still in development
Do note that this app is in ‘Early Access’ at the moment. You can download it via the Play Store, but it is still not fully stable. I’ve been using it for about a day, and didn’t have any issues, though. Some of the features I was looking for are missing here, but that is to be expected, as it is still in early access. That being said, the app does come with quite a few features, and a ton of customizability options. If you’re looking for a highly-customizable Reddit app, this one may do the trick. First and foremost, the design is really nice. It’s flat, and straight to the point. If you don’t like the default colors, this app does come with a flexible theme engine, which allows you to choose between hundreds of Material Colors. So, you can basically make this app look any way you want, in terms of colors.
Multi-account support is included, along with detailed layout settings
The app does support more than one account, so you don’t have to worry about that. Now, as already mentioned, customizability is the keyword here. This app offers advanced theme and layout settings. Default layouts on offer are ‘List’, ‘Cards’, and ‘Cozy Cards’. The thing is, you can heavily edit each of these layouts, and make the app look the way you want. You can edit the text section separately, and the same goes for the author section. The body of each card can also be edited, and so much more. The number of options for layout editing may even be overwhelming for some. Content filters are also available, and detailed. Do note that both ‘Notifications’ and ‘Data Usage’ sections are still under development and not available. Plus some other features are missing, but that is to be expected.
