The Galaxy S22 Ultra to launch with less RAM in Europe, but with unchanged price
Now, based on the information that surfaced thus far, in the US, the Galaxy S22 series will be more expensive than the Galaxy S21 series. Samsung is looking to hike up prices by about $100. In Europe, things will be a bit different. Let’s talk about the Galaxy S22 Ultra first, shall we, as that’s what we started talking about previously. The based Galaxy S22 Ultra unit will include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That unit will cost the same as the base Galaxy S21 Ultra unit last year, €1,249. The thing is, this model will come with less RAM. Last year’s model included 12GB of RAM, while this model will utilize 8GB of RAM in Europe. If you do want the 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage, though, you can get it for €100 more. It will set you back €1,349. The most expensive variant will include 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and will cost €1,449.
