The update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 arrives with the firmware version F711U1TBS2CVC9. On the other hand, the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 carries firmware version F926U1UES1CVC9. Samsung is pushing the April 2022 security patch for both devices simultaneously. If you live in the US and own an unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 or the Galaxy Z Flip 3, then you should have received the update notification. However, if you haven’t received the update yet, you should note that the update is rolling out via OTA. This means that it will arrive for all phones gradually. To be sure, you can manually check for the update on your phone. To do this, simply head over to the Settings menu. Tap on the Software Update option. Hit the Download and install button. Your phone will start looking at the official servers for the update, and if it detects one, it will prompt you to install it. Sadly, there is no information about the size of the update.
