Most retailers will offer expedited shipping for free this time of year, and also extend their return policies as well. Many of which are active until January 2022. So that you can buy something today and still return it almost two months later. When it comes to shipping, Prime members continue to get the same speedy delivery as they do all-year long. You can also get free same-day delivery on qualifying orders over $35 in qualifying ZIP codes. You can also get free next-day and two-day deliveries. B&H Photo & Video
Like most retailers, B&H Photo & Video does offer free standard shipping. That will range from one to seven business days, depending on where in the US you are located. Remember that all of their products are shipped out of New Jersey. So if you are on the east coast, the shipping will be a lot quicker, than on the west coast. It also offers free expedited shipping for anything over $49. That’s one to three business days.
Best Buy
Best Buy offers free next-day shipping on orders that are over $35. There are some exceptions there, and you’ll want to check their website for those. Best Buy also notes that there are limitations on next-day deliveries during Thanksgiving week. And there are also limitations on larger products, like appliances and TVs that will require a scheduled delivery. Returns are allowed until January 16, 2022 for those items purchased between October 18, 2021 and January 2, 2022. This does not include those items that come with a third-party contract like smartphones, tablets and wearables. Which all have a 14-day return period. If you’re a My Best Buy Elite member, you have until January 16 or 30 days after purchase, which ever is longer. For Elite Plus members, that is January 16 or 45 days from receipt, whichever is longer.
Costco
Costco, unfortunately, does not offer free shipping, and will calculate shipping costs during checkout. The fees will depend on the product and shipping method. But if you do live near a Costco, it may be easier to order online and pick up in store. As far as returns go, Costco does have a pretty open return policy. Except for things like TVs and computers which have a 90-day return window. There are also other exceptions, which are listed on their return page.
Dell
Dell has a no minimum purchase for free standard shipping. However, the delivery window can vary based on your order. There are expedited shipping options available too. And that will depend on your ZIP code. There is a 30-day return policy with some exceptions. There is also the possibility of a restocking fee of up to 15% for your return. This is not on every product, however.
Google is giving free shipping to everyone ordering between October 19 and January 31, 2022. There is no minimum required for this. But this is for the slowest shipping available. Google does offer expedited shipping on all products, for an added cost. The Google Store will take returns until January 31, 2022, however there are two windows here to pay attention to. Firstly, purchase between November 26, 2021 and December 10, 2021 can be returned until January 10, 2022. And any purchases made from December 11, through January 31, 2022 can be returned up to 30 days after it was received. And Google has waived its restocking fee for anything purchased between October 19, 2021 and January 31, 2022.
Microsoft
Most of the products that Microsoft sells offer free two- to three-day shipping. With express shipping available for an additional fee. Eligible products are still subject to the standard terms of sale listed on Microsoft’s website. Which allows for a 30-day return window from when the product was purchased.
Sam’s Club
Sam’s Club does not offer free shipping for everything, the shipping cost depends on the item’s size, weight, shipping method and delivery address. But Plus Members will get free shipping on most online items. And if you’re not a Plus Member, you can sign up here. There’s no specified return period for Sam’s Club, and some return periods may be stated for specific products.
Walmart
Walmart offers free next-day deliver in eligible ZIP codes for orders over $35. There’s also free two-day and free standard shipping available. For returns, most items purchased between November 1, 2021 and December 25, 2021 have extended return dates. Any item bought during that time-frame will have a return window of fewer than 90 days begins its return period on December 26, 2021. Which means that a cut-off date for an item with a 14-day return policy is January 9, 2022. It’s important to note here that this only applies to Walmart products, and not Walmart Marketplace sellers.
