In this tutorial we are going to show you how you can share your Ring Video Doorbell and Cameras with others in your home. What’s really nice here is that Ring will allow you to share each product on an individual basis. So for example, I have a Ring Video Doorbell, Spotlight Cam Solar and a Stick Up Cam Battery in my home. I can choose to share just the doorbell, or just the Spotlight Cam, or all three with others. And we’ll show you how to do that in this tutorial as well.

Why would I want to share with others?

And you can also share with those that don’t live in your home. So maybe you have a camera in your parents home, and want to make sure they are okay, you can check your Ring camera and see how they are doing. Especially if one has a history of falling when no one else is around. You’ll know right away, which is really nice.

How to share Ring Doorbell and Cameras with other users

Open the Ring app. Tap on the three lines in the upper-left hand corner.

Tap on Settings. Now, find “Shared Access” and tap on that.

From here you can see the “Owner” as well as other users that you have shared access to your Ring products with. Tap the “+” button in the lower-right hand corner.

Now tap on “Add Shared User”.

Next, you’ll need to input their email address. Then select which products you want to share with them. You can choose to only share a doorbell, or also share everything with them. Then tap on “Send Invite” at the bottom.

And that’s it. The other user will receive a link to tap on to sign up or log in, and get access to these devices. It’s just that simple.
