How to enable Pop-Up View on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

First, we need to enable Pop-Up View. To do this, head into Settings. Scroll down to “Advanced Features” and tap on that.

Next, tap on “Labs”.

Now you’ll see a number of options including a “Swipe for pop-up view” which is towards the bottom. Tap on that toggle.

After this, you’ll be able to swipe down to enable pop-up view on almost any app.

How to use Pop-Up View on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

Now that you have enabled Pop-Up View on your Galaxy Z Fold 4, it’s pretty easy to use it. All you need to do is swipe down diagonally from the corner of the screen, and resize the app into the size window you want.

Once you’re in Pop-Up View, you’ll see a line across the top of the window. Tap on that, and you’ll get a few more options that will allow you to minimize, maximize or close the window altogether. Just like if you were using a desktop.

You can swipe up to go home as usual, and the apps in Pop-Up View will appear in the corner, just tap on them to re-open them. Which makes it super simple to multi-task on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. And that’s really all there is to Pop-Up View on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It’s a really cool multi-tasking feature that let’s you take better advantage of this larger display. Important to note, Instagram does not work in Pop-Up View. Which should come as no surprise, as the app works pretty terribly on the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s main display.
