Moto G60S specifications

The Moto G60S sports a big 6.8-inch Max Vision punch-hole display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset that has two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. It features the Mali-G76 MC4 GPU for graphics duties. Motorola has paired the SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you need more storage, the phone supports microSD cards of up to 1TB capacity. It’s unclear if the device will be available in any other memory configuration though. For imaging, we have a quad-camera setup on the back featuring a 64-megapixel f/1.7 primary shooter. The other three lenses are an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide camera, a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera. There’s a 16-megapixel f/2.2 camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The Moto G60S packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 50W fast wired charging. The company claims 12 hours of battery life with just 12 minutes of charge. Other notable features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, hybrid dual-SIM support (two SIM cards or one SIM card and a microSD card), NFC support, dual-band Wi-FI, Bluetooth 5.0, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, and Galileo positioning services. The Moto batwing logo on the back should also double up as a capacitive fingerprint sensor. The Moto G60S has a dimension of 169.7 x 75.9 x 9.6 mm and weighs 212 grams. The device runs Android 11 out of the box. You should get a near-stock experience as Motorola doesn’t make too many tweaks to its UI. The company does brag about gesture support for functions like opening the camera, enabling do not disturb, turning on the flashlight, capturing a screenshot, and many more.

Price and availability

The Moto G60s comes in blue and green color options and is already available for purchase in Brazil for BRL 2,499 (approx. $478). But smartphones are usually more expensive in Brazil as compared to the rest of the world. So it could cost lesser elsewhere if and when it arrives outside the South American country. To that end, Motorola has yet to announce the global availability of the Moto G60S. We will let you know if the handset comes stateside anytime soon.
