MSI hasn’t confirmed an official price yet but it won’t be long before the company reveals this information. MSI says the laptop will launch at CES 2023, which is just next week. Chances are that a price will be one of the things talked about during its full reveal. Alongside the price, a majority of the laptop’s specs are also unknown. It’s unclear whether or not the Titan GT77 will be powered by Intel or AMD, but MSI does say that it will feature “world-leading processing power.” Since the previous version of the TITAN GT77 ran on a 12th Gen Intel chip though, it’s likely the new model will as well. For the GPU, MSI seems to be going with NVIDIA as the company mentions “next-gen GeForce laptop GPU performance.” Which suggests that this laptop will come with a new laptop version of the 40-series cards that NVIDIA launched in late 2022.

The MSI Titan GT77 comes with super bright backlighting

For the time being MSI seems to be focusing on the display tech for this laptop. While the rest of the specs have been kept under wraps, MSI is talking about the display features. With a peak brightness of 1000 nits, MSI says the laptop has super bright backlighting which means gamers should be able to worry less about glare. The laptop display also has VESA DisplayHDR 1000 support for better HDR performance, and a 3ms response time (with overdrive). All of this is packed into a 17.3-inch panel. When it comes to the design, it seems MSI has left the laptop mostly unchanged. More about the new Titan GT77 HX 13V will be revealed during MSI’s CES 2023 event.
