The upcoming Google Pixel Watch has been leaked inside and out. We know that it’s going to use an older mid-range processor, it’ll have a premium design, and it’ll have a pretty high price tag. Also, we can’t forget about this watch being left in a restaurant a couple of months ago. Still, there’s a lot of information about this device that we hope to find out during the event.

We see some of the Google apps on the Pixel Watch

Ahead of the anticipated event, we just got a new leak from Mishaal Rahman showing off some of the Google apps that we’ll see on the Pixel Watch. What makes this leak significant is the fact that we’re still in the dark about what Wear OS 3 really is. Last year, the Galaxy Watch 4 received the platform, but it was a Samsung-ified version of Wear OS. What we’re talking about is the pure straight-from-Google version of the OS. Well, we don’t know what the software will be like, but we have some insight into what some of Google’s apps will look like. The tweet from Rahman shows us the Google Photos app. You’ll have access to your pictures, and you’ll be able to set them as your watch face. Next, is the Google Home App. This will allow you to control your smart home products right from the watch. We see the Material You-inspired cards with the bubby rounded shape. This should make the contents easier to read on the smaller screen. Last, but not least, the tweet showed off the Personal Safety app. This will let you contact emergency services in case you need help. With this, Google could also announce Emergency SOS for the Pixel Watch. Google is going to hold its latest hardware event on Thursday, October 6th at 10 am EST (7 am PST). If you’re excited about this event, you’ll want to tune in to the Made By Google YouTube channel to watch the live stream.
