The Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro storage and release date info just surfaced

The tipster claims that both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will pack in only 128GB and 256GB of storage, at least in Europe. You won’t be able to grab a 512GB or 1TB version of either device. The situation may be different in the US, even though the storage counts are usually the same in both markets. Google may change things up, though, of course. We’ll have to wait and see. That’s not all, though. The tipster also said that both devices will likely ship around two weeks after they’re announced. Chances are we’re looking at exactly two weeks, which means that they could ship on October 20. Google already announced these devices, kind of. The company showed us some renders of their back sides back in May. Google also confirmed that they’ll ship with a next-gen Tensor chip, but that was mostly it.

Both phones will be fueled by the Google Tensor G2 processor

In the meantime, a lot more information surfaced, and Google itself confirmed that the Tensor G2 will be the name of the aforementioned processor. The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will resemble their predecessors quite a bit. They will, however, include a metallic cover on their camera visors this time around, providing more protection. The Pixel 7 will be a bit smaller than last year’s Pixel 6, to make more of a size difference between the two models. Both devices will ship with Android 13 out of the box, of course. The main camera will likely remain the same, as far as the hardware is concerned. We are expecting improvements on the software side of things, not to mention the Tensor G2 SoC.
