This is a series of physical, mental, and behavioral changes that happen over a 24-hour period. Basically, this is your body’s internal clock. Where you’ll generally have more energy between certain times of the day. The watch aims to help you harness this natural rhythm and perform at your best during peak optimal times.

Healthy sleep is at the center of the Polar Ignite 3

Performing at an optimal level usually starts with a good night’s rest. Which is why Polar ensured its advanced sleep tracking was a focal point of the Ignite 3. A big part of that effort is the new SleepWise feature. This combines multiple metrics like when you went to bed, the amount of time you slept, and the quality of that sleep with your individual internal rhythm and sleep needs. The SleepWise feature than analyzes that data to tell you how alert you for the day ahead when you wake up the next morning. From there, you can see when the best time might be for jumping into an activity, such as running or lifting weights. This data can also tell you the optimal time for winding down the day and resting. Before ultimately going to sleep, of course. Additional features for the Ignite 3 include the Nightly Recharge which measures how well you recovered from the day’s activities and stresses, as well as others you’ll find on many other watches. Such as 24/7 activity tracking, music controls, and even customizable widgets. Polar also says the watch can last up to five days while in Watch Mode, or 30 hours if you enable GPS. The Ignite 3 comes in Night Black, Purple Dusk, Greige Sand, and Brown Copper, and is available from Polar directly, as well as retail stores globally.
