The One UI Value Up Challenge program will not give any time advantage to participants. It will begin once the One UI 5.0 public beta kicks off later this month. But since Samsung’s user community is huge, the company has seemingly designed the new program to ensure that their voices are heard. Community members who are more active on its forums than others will have the chance to shape up the next iteration of the Korean firm’s custom Android skin. The selected users will likely have direct access to Samsung’s software team. As such, they will be able to gather feedback from users across the forums and send those to the company. Samsung may even reward the participants based on their feedback and suggestions. As of this writing, Samsung has only announced the One UI Value Up Challenge program in its home country South Korea. It’s unclear if the company plans to launch something similar in other regions as well. We have little hope, though. But the One UI 5.0 public beta will certainly open in a few more countries, with the US being one of them. We will let you know once we have the precise dates for the program’s kicks off. The company has already put up a dedicated page for the One UI 5.0 beta program on its forums. So the wait shouldn’t be much longer now.

The Galaxy S22 series will first get One UI 5.0

Samsung will begin beta testing One UI 5.0 with the Galaxy S22 series. The latest Galaxy flagships will also get the stable update ahead of other models. The likes of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and others should be next in the pipeline. We will keep you posted with all the latest information regarding the next iteration of Samsung’s custom Android skin. One UI 5.0 will bring all the goodies that are part and parcel of Android 13, along with several tweaks and add-ons from the Korean behemoth.
