Samsung has been beta-testing the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 for about two months now. During this time, the company released beta updates for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy A52. Most of these devices have picked up multiple beta builds. But all this while, the latest Galaxy foldables were missing in action as far as the Android 13 beta is concerned. The program is finally open for the duo. If you’re using a Galaxy Z Fold 4 or Galaxy Z Flip 4 in any of the aforementioned markets, you should see a banner about One UI 5.0 beta in the Samsung Members app. Users in other regions can also check if the banner is available. To register your phone, click on the banner and follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to log in with your Samsung account. The beta update will arrive over the air (OTA) shortly after you have completed the registration process. You can check for it manually from the Settings app.
Samsung will soon release the stable Android 13 update to Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting the first Android 13 beta build after the Galaxy S22 series picked up the fifth release. The latter is scheduled to receive the stable update later this month, possibly next week. Other models, including the latest foldables, will likely follow in November. Most eligible Galaxy flagships should make the jump to the new Android version before the end of this year. In the meantime, interested Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 users can now enroll in their shiny new foldable in the beta program to get an early taste of Android 13. From improved animations and UI tweaks to new features and improvements, there’s plenty to look forward to in the new version of Android as well as Samsung’s One UI 5.0 custom software. The company says the latest One UI version provides its best mobile experience yet. We will let you know when the stable Android 13 update starts rolling out to Galaxy devices.
