Oppo released the Find N as an answer to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold phones. It’s a notebook foldable phone that is rather short compared to other phones of that nature. This made the front display more useful as a display itself. Along with that, it brought the latest specs of the time and it was an all-around great package. Now, Oppo is looking to bring forth the next generation with two foldable phones.

The new Oppo Find N had its specs leaked

This news comes from a Weibo post made by Digital Chat Station. We expect this new Oppo foldable to be called the Oppo Find N 2. It’s going to share some notable specs with its predecessor, which no one is complaining about. Starting off with the processor, this new phone is expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 1 plus. That’s currently the most powerful processor from the company. The display is expected to be a 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. That, of course, refers to the internal display. We’re not sure what the outer display will look like, but we can bet that it’ll be identical to the first generation’s. As for the battery, the second-gen Oppo Find N looks like you’ll have a 4520mAh battery. That’s a 0.004% increase in battery capacity, which is negligible. However, we’re happy to see that it hasn’t gone down.

There’s also a clamshell foldable coming

Aside from the Oppo Find and Gen 2, Oppo is also releasing a clamshell foldable. This will combat the Galaxy Z Flip phones. This phone is expected to have a 6.8-inch internal display with a 3.26-inch outer display. As for the battery, we’re looking at a 4300mAh cell. That’s a decent size in and of itself, and it’s 16% larger than the battery in the Galaxy Z flip 4 (3700mAh). Moving on to the camera, this phone is expected to have a 50-megapixel main camera with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Since these are leaked specs, you’ll want to take these with a grain of salt. We need to wait on official word from Oppo to confirm these specs. When these phones launch, or not sure if they will launch outside of China. Even if they do, it doesn’t seem likely that they will make it to the US. Hopefully, these phones do, as the US is starving for competition against Digital Chat Station.
