When it comes to phones, some people really put a lot of focus on charging speed. Heavy users who use their phones on a constant basis don’t like waiting around for them to charge. This is why companies make their phones charge faster and faster.

The charging speed for the Nothing Phone(1) might have been revealed

Twitter user Mukul Sharma posted a bit of a confusing tweet recently about the phone’s charging capabilities. This tweet comes with some screenshots. The first one shows the charging specs for the Nothing Phone(1). We see 11.0 Vdc Rated current and 3.0 A Protection class. From that, we can tell that this phone will be able to use up to 33W of power to charge. However, there was another screenshot posted in the tweet, and it tells a different story about the actual charger. In it, we see that the charger itself might be a 45W charger. So, based on the screenshots, it looks like the phone will use a 45W charger, but the phone itself will use only 33W of it. It seems weird that the company would do that, and it leads people to think. Maybe the company originally planned on the phone using 45W and started building the chargers. Then, it changed its mind and bumped the charging down to 33W after building a bunch of 45W chargers. That’s just speculation, however. This charging speed might be a disappointment to people who were wanting faster charging for the Nothing Phone(1). It seems that the phone will have a decent battery capacity, so it’s hard to say just how fast the phone will charge for users.
