Most of the wallpapers provided by Google are stills, but the company has introduced a small handful of live wallpapers. These aren’t the most extravagant wallpapers, but they do change based on the orientation of your phone.
There are four new live floral wallpapers for Pixel phones
As stated before, Google just released a new software update to its Pixel phones, and it brought a few new and useful features. Among the update, we got some new wallpapers for Pixel phones. This update prompted a slight change in the wallpaper picker. The Live Universe category has been pushed down, and that made room for the new Live Bloom category to come in. When you tap on it, you will see the four new wallpapers that you can assign. When you tap on one, you’ll have to download it in order to preview it. On the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, you’ll see a little download icon. Once you do, you’ll see the wallpaper come to life. Each of these four new Pixel live wallpapers have its own unique look and feel. One wallpaper shows you Persian Buttercups with a moderately dark background. The next one shows you a nice set of Boat Orchid flowers with a greenish background. If you want a lighter tone, the wallpaper with the white and pink Maki Dahlia flowers is a nice change of pace with a pink background. Last but not least, we have the Pink Flamingo flowers with an orangish background. If you don’t see this update, then you may want to be patient. Your phone will most likely inform you when the update is available.
