MSI launches Raider GE67 HX with the world’s first 240Hz OLED display

Samsung Display’s 240Hz OLED laptop display takes gaming to a whole new level. With a super-low response time of just 0.2 ms, you will be able to enjoy a true-to-life gaming experience. The 15.6-inch screen boasts a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut for more accurate and realistic colors. This is the color standard used in the film industry. MSI’s True Color Technology further provides different color modes to best fit your usages. You also get QHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels) and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. In addition to this revolutionary 240Hz screen, the MSI Raider GE67 HX laptop has a lot more going for it. The machine is powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900HX processor and runs Windows 11. It comes in multiple graphics choices of up to 16GB, though all are from NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX series. The laptop supports DDR5-4800 RAM and features two slots for a maximum memory of 64GB. You also get two M.2 SSD slots for storage. The MSI Raider GE67 HX gaming laptop includes two fans and seven heat pipes for efficient cooling while gameplay. You also get an extensive range of ports for data transmission or display output. These include two USB Type-C, three USB Type-A, one RJ45, one SD Express Card Reader, and one HDMI port with up to 8K resolution support. For connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, and LAN support. A 1080p webcam, per-key RGB backlight keyboard, two-sided Duo Wave speakers with a Dynaudio sound system, AI-enhanced gaming modes, and a 4-cell 99.9 Whr battery are among the key highlights of the MSI Raider GE67 HX. “OLED with high refresh rate is the perfect combination for a premium gaming experience, with super-low response time, super-wide color gamut, and super-high contrast ratio. In addition, it balances well between high resolution and high refresh rate performance,” said Clark Peng, a Vice President at MSI. Notebook Product Management Division. “The clear advantages offered by high refresh rate OLED panels compared to LCDs will be a game changer for the gaming industry” added Jeeho Baek, an Executive Vice President at Samsung Display.
