The Xiaomi 12 Lite got revealed ahead of time through images, specs, and video
Xiaomi’s Azerbaijan Instagram page says that the device can be pre-ordered until July 8 via the company’s official website, and yet the device is nowhere to be found there. This seems to be some sort of a mistake or something. That being said, four images of the device did get shared as a result as well. If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll get to see the device. As you can see, Xiaomi is going for flat sides here. The phone will actually be flat all around. The edges will be chamfered, of course, but that doesn’t change the fact that all its sides will be flat. Three cameras will sit on the back of this phone, in the top-left corner. Xiaomi’s branding is, of course, visible on the back, and three color options are shown here. The phone is shown in black, pink, and cyan colors.
A 120Hz display will be included, along with 67W charging
These images also confirm that the Xiaomi 12 Lite will feature a 120Hz display, along with 67 turbo charging, and a 108-megapixel main camera. It’s also mentioned that it will be very light. What about the rest of its specs? Well, you can expect that 120Hz panel to measure 6.55 inches. We’re still not sure about the resolution, but it’ll almost certainly be a fullHD+ panel. It’s going to be flat, by the way. The Snapdragon 778G will fuel the phone, while Dolby Atmos stereo speakers will also be a part of the package. A 4,300mAh battery is mentioned, along with the 67W wired charging.
Xiaomi opted for a 108-megapixel main camera
In addition to a 108-megapixel main camera, you can expect an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro unit. A 32-megapixel selfie camera will also be a part of the package. Android 12 will come pre-installed on the phone. The Xiaomi 12 Lite will be only 7.29mm thin, and weigh only 173 grams, despite its size. As mentioned earlier, a short video showing off the phone also surfaced. It’s embedded below.
