The Beats Solo3 are on-ear headphones, which might be more comfortable for some people to wear all day long. And that is because they sit on your ear, instead of covering your entire ear. So these would be great for those endless Zoom meetings that we are all a part of right now. Despite these being on-ear headphones, the battery life is still fairly incredible. We’re looking at around 40 hours on a single charge. And Beats does have a fast charging feature here, where you can charge for 5 minutes and get about three hours of playback out of these. That is really useful, if your battery is low and you have a meeting that you need to take. Now, the most important part about the Beats Solo3 is the audio quality. Beats was once known for having a lot of bass. And in a lot instances, too much bass. That’s not the case anymore. The Beats Solo3 offer some deep bass, but it is not overpowering the mids and highs. Which is going to give you a really full sound out of these headphones. And that is always good to see. Finally, the ear cups do have controls, so you can easily control the volume, play/pause, skip tracks and more. There is even support for Siri – and only Siri, since Beats is owned by Apple.
